Optional Services

The following transfers are available for a minimum of 2 persons traveling together to enable guests to join our tours, or to continue to other destinations at the end. 
Porterage and the local shuttle at Allenby, Sheikh Hussein and Araba (between Jordanian and Israeli checkpoints), which add up to circa $4.50, are not included.   
(all rates mentioned are per person, including transfers).

* As Allenby Bridge is closed to traffic at 3:00pm on Saturdays, transfers to Jerusalem and Tel Aviv at the end of Tours #701 (Lawrence), #401 (Highlights) and #302 (Crusaders) take place from Araba.

Extra Nights Rates

For pre-arrivals and extra nights after our tours, please find below the rates for accommodation at the Amman hotels. 
Airport transfers for early arrivals and late departures are provided for free by JCT. 
Please note that these rates are only valid in conjunction with one of our tours.

• Service charges and sales taxes at hotels and restaurants.
  
• Transportation in comfortable air-conditioned tour coaches, vans and limousines.
  
• Services of a Escort/Guide throughout the tour.
  
• All entrance fees to sites visited and services of local guides where necessary.
  
• Horse ride at Petra.
  
• Assistance with Immigration and Customs formalities at Amman airport, King Hussein (Allenby) and Sheikh Hussein Bridges.
  
• Dinner at Kan Zaman with Tours #801 & #701.

• Visa fees.
  
• Departure taxes where applicable.
  
• Telephone calls, laundry and other items of personal nature.
  
• Lunches while on tour.
  
• Tips to hotel and restaurant staff, drivers and guides.
  
  

• While every effort will be made, JCT reserve the right to change the routing, sequence and departure time of a tour in case it is considered in the best interest of the tour guests, a site is closed or for reasons beyond their control.
  

• Rates mentioned in this brochure are per person and are guaranteed and valid from March 1^st 2001 – February 28^th 2002. 
  

• Payment is requested in full when a reservation is accepted by you, and prior to the departure of the Tour. When confirming your reservation, JCT shall notify you of the deadline at which payment must be received, and reserve the right to release the reservation without further notice if payment is not received by then.
  

• In general, there is no charge if you decide to cancel your reservation if JCT receive notification at least 14 days prior to the commencement of the Tour. Otherwise a fee equal to 25% of the total cost of the Tour shall be due.
  

• JCT hold a permanent allotment at, and shall endeavor to accommodate you in, the hotels listed in this brochure. Should such allotments be sold out, JCT shall offer you alternative properties of the same standard when confirming your reservation. Further, JCT reserve the right to change a specific hotel at any time, if it is considered to be in the best interest of tour guests, or in case of a force majeure.
  

• JCT, its employees and agents give notice that, while every effort will be made to ensure that all services featured in a Tour shall be provided, they act as agents of various suppliers and shall not be held responsible for acts and omissions of said suppliers. 
  

• High season rates apply for tours that begin from March 01^st  to June 01^st , September 15th to November 15th and December 20th to January 5th. Rates quoted for single room accommodation and half board supplement are valid throughout the year.
